Alabama Section Chapter of the Geo-Institute

The Alabama Section Chapter of the Geo-Institute is the geotechnical activity within the Alabama Section.  The Chapter was formed in January, 2008.  Officers serving through September 30, 2010 are:

President: Jim Pegues, P.E., Southern Company Services

Vice President: Robert Thompson, P.E., Dan Brown and Associates, PLLC

Secretary/Treasurer: David Johnson, P.E., Bhate Engineering

Director: Jon Gould, P.E., Dan Brown and Associates, PLLC

Director: Kevin Blake, P.E., CTL, Inc.

Join the Geo-Institute of ASCE

If you are not a member of ASCE, or do not qualify to be a member of ASCE, you can still join the Geo-Institute.  Go to the Membership Info page of the G-I home page. Membership is open to all members of the geo-industry based on education or experience.  If you are currently an ASCE member, you can join one institute for free and add more than one for an additional fee.
